G8 Education Launches New Child Safety Measures Following Staff Incident; Shares Fall 4%

G8 Education (ASX:GEM) said it has several initiatives underway to ensure the safety of children, including the rollout of CCTV cameras across all centers, after the recent incident where one of its workers was charged with child-related offenses, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company also said it is forming strategic partnerships with external experts to deliver specialized training in child safety and trauma.

The company's shares fell 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
