Gorilla Gold Mines (ASX:GG8) said diamond drilling at the Mulwarrie gold project in Western Australia returned high-grade results, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The step-out drilling targeted down-dip extensions of the known mineralization at the project, outside the mineral resource estimate envelope. The results included intercepts of 4.2 meters at 54 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 334.3 meters and 5.3 meters at 13 g/t gold from 140.5 meters.
The firm is planning an extensive drilling program to further grow the resource at the project, and it is also conducting metallurgical test work.
The firm said that its Chief Financial Officer, Mark Rozlapa, tendered his resignation from the position to take up another career opportunity. Rozlapa agreed to remain in the role until mid-November to help with the transition process.
