eToro市场分析师乔希·吉尔伯特（Josh Gilbert）在邮件中指出，随着7月消费者价格指数（CPI）延续通胀降温趋势，新加坡金融管理局（MAS）可能放宽货币政策。

　　7月核心通胀率环比上涨0.5%，低于6月的0.6%。吉尔伯特认为，鉴于核心通胀趋缓且下半年经济增长可能放缓，金管局在10月进一步放宽政策“似乎是正确举措”。

　　此前，金管局在7月会议上选择维持政策不变，未来或等待更多证据。

　　吉尔伯特表示：“当前的政策讨论已从控制通胀转向支持经济增长。”
