Aug 25 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1930 GMT on Monday:

** AbbVie ABBV.N will buy an experimental depression drug from partner Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals for up to $1.2 billion, the companies said, seeking to access a fast-growing market for psychedelic-based treatments. nL4N3UH0U7

** U.S. soft drinks giant Keurig Dr Pepper KDP.O is set to create a global coffee giant to rival market leader Nestle NESN.S with an $18 billion takeover of JDE Peet's JDEP.AS, Europe's largest acquisition in more than two years. nL1N3UH0D5

** Thoma Bravo will acquire Verint Systems VRNT.O in a $2 billion deal, including debt, the customer engagement platform said on Monday, marking the latest software buyout as private equity firms increasingly bet on AI to navigate an uncertain economy. nL4N3UH0T9

** U.S. shale producer Crescent Energy CRGY.N said it would acquire smaller peer Vital Energy VTLE.N in an all-stock deal valued at $3.1 billion, including debt. nL4N3UH0PF

** The pension trust of Mercedes-Benz MBGn.DE will sell off its roughly $346 million shareholding, a 3.8% stake, in Nissan Motor 7201.T, a spokesperson for the German carmaker said , adding to pressure on the Japanese automaker's share price. nL1N3UH08W

** Royalty Pharma RPRX.O said it has signed a deal with BeOne Medicines to acquire a royalty interest in Amgen's AMGN.O drug for small cell lung cancer for up to $950 million. nL4N3UH0M0

** French cocoa trader Touton SA said it was in exclusive talks to be sold to commodity and energy trader Hartree Partners. nL1N3UH0IZ

** Vienna Insurance Group $(VIG)$ said it has won a public auction to acquire 80% of leading Moldovan non-life insurer Moldasig SA, strengthening its position in Central and Eastern Europe $(CEE)$. nL6N3UH0E4

** The owners of the EPIC Crude pipeline are exploring a sale, with any deal likely to value the energy infrastructure at around $3 billion including debt, people familiar with the matter said. nL1N3UE0YM
