智通财经APP获悉，知情人士透露，Spirit Aviation Holdings(FLYY.US)旗下的廉价航空公司精神航空在近期财务重组未能使公司走上可持续发展道路后，正在探索战略替代方案。受此消息影响，Spirit Aviation盘前大跌10%。
知情人士透露，这家廉价航空公司已聘请财务顾问公司PJT Partners协助应对现金短缺问题，该公司此前曾表示，现金短缺让人怀疑其能否继续经营下去。
该公司同时正在与咨询公司FTI及Seabury航空战略集团合作。
精神航空已警告称，若没有现金注入，公司将无法履行债务义务，且很可能无法再维持运营一年。精神航空于去年11月申请破产保护，并于今年3月脱离第十一章破产保护程序。
