Odaily星球日报讯 今日，在日本东京举办的 WebX 2025 大会上，曾在拜登执政期间参与加密政策制定的前白宫顾问、现 Penumbra Strategies 首席执行官 Carole House 表示，拜登政府并未想过扼杀加密货币，虽然这种说法在整个行业广泛传播，其也理解为什么行业会这么想，但这件事需要基于历史背景去看。
美国政府在加密政策上的历史其实很复杂。众所周知，特朗普在第一任期里也极度敌视加密货币。拜登总统任内曾发布了美国历史上第一份关于数字资产的行政命令，也是第一次明确表示——在金融科技和数字资产领域保持竞争力，是符合美国国家利益的。那份行政命令相当平衡，既承认了这项技术可能带来的机会与竞争优势，也正视了当前行业中存在的重大现实风险。
Carole 还提到：“拜登政府并不是在试图禁止加密货币。我们采取了很多行动，聚焦于行业标准的制定……我们的监管方式更像手术刀，而非大锤。”
