Western Gold Resources (ASX:WGR) said grade control and infill drilling operations are set to begin at the Gold Duke project in Western Australia on Wednesday, after the appointment of VM Drilling as a primary contractor, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The program consists of a total of 35,300 meters of reverse circulation drilling, with individual holes targeting a maximum depth of 30 meters across the first stage pit zones Emu, Eagle, Golden Monarch, and Gold King.
It also submitted a miscellaneous license application to provide flexibility in potential haulage routes to the Wiluna processing plant.
