Breton Technology Co., Ltd. has released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The company reported a revenue of RMB 326.8 million, marking an increase from RMB 267.5 million in the same period of 2024. The increase in revenue was primarily driven by strong sales in battery-electric wide-body dump trucks, which generated revenue of RMB 256.5 million compared to RMB 144.5 million in the previous year. Despite the increase in revenue, Breton Technology recorded a net loss of RMB 174.2 million for the period, compared to a net loss of RMB 154.3 million in the first half of 2024. The loss was influenced by higher impairment losses on trade and other receivables, contract assets, and financial guarantees issued, which amounted to RMB 73.5 million, up from RMB 45.5 million in the prior year. The company's gross profit improved, reaching RMB 21.0 million from RMB 8.3 million in the same period last year. However, increased selling expenses and administrative expenses continued to impact the overall financial performance. Additionally, finance costs rose to RMB 6.5 million from RMB 3.9 million in the previous year. Breton Technology's loss per share was reported at RMB 0.48, compared to RMB 0.44 in the first half of 2024. The company did not provide any specific outlook or guidance for the remainder of the year.
