智通财经APP获悉，星巴克(SBUX.US)正在削减其美国烘焙与包装工厂的每周生产天数，以降低成本。
星巴克宣布，自一月起将把美国五家工厂的生产计划从每周七天调整为五天，通过削减成本来为其他领域的升级改造提供资金。公司发现目前的需求水平已不再需要每周七天连续运营这些全天候生产的工厂。
这五家工厂分别位于佐治亚州、南卡罗来纳州、宾夕法尼亚州、内华达州和华盛顿州，不仅为星巴克门店生产咖啡产品，还供应零售店和超市销售的包装咖啡。
即将在不到一个月后任职满周年的首席执行官纳斯勒，为应对美国市场对其高价饮品需求疲软的状况，持续推行成本削减措施并加大对门店的再投资力度。
星巴克正致力于扭转同店销售额连续六个季度下滑的局面。
上周，星巴克为所有受薪员工设置了2%的涨薪上限。今年一月早些时候，该公司作为业务重整计划的一部分已解雇部分总部员工。
