智通财经APP获悉，伯克希尔哈撒韦(BRK.A.US)旗下分销企业McLane Company周三表示，已在德克萨斯州奥斯汀设立了一个新的技术中心，以支持其人工智能加速战略以及不断壮大的信息技术与数字化(IT&D)团队。这一位于奥斯汀的中心将使总部位于德州坦普尔的McLane能够利用当地庞大的人才库，推动其技术与数据相关目标的实现。该场地将支持约100名在网络安全、数据、人工智能和云工程等领域的团队成员开展工作。
McLane IT&D团队负责人Murat Genc表示：“我们在数字化供应链、云、数据和人工智能基础设施方面的战略投资，正在为未来适用的物流、零售和餐饮服务模式奠定基础。这种模式能够在整个生态系统中提供卓越的服务、无缝的集成以及个性化的洞察。”
资料显示，McLane是一家美国的批发供应链服务公司，为美国各地的便利店、折扣零售商、批发俱乐部、药店、军事基地、快餐店和休闲餐厅等提供食品、饮料、酒类和非食品类商品的供应服务。
