1241 ET - Snowflake's platform has seen a notable acceleration in developer activity throughout 2Q, which it will be reporting results for this week, Davidson analysts Gil Luria and Alexander Platt say in a research note. The three months of activity has tracked higher than the historical trend line, the analysts say. They're seeing better-than-average growth during the summer months across infrastructure software, but Snowflake and competitor Databricks have outperformed, according to the note. For Snowflake, that's coming from strong activity across its core data warehouse product and Snowpark, the analysts say. While Databricks is growing fast too, activity in its data warehouse product is lagging Snowflake's, they say. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
