Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google on Tuesday introduced new live translation and language learning tools in Google Translate through the help of advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The live translation tool allows users to have real-time "back-and-forth conversation" in over 70 languages with audio and on-screen translations via the Translate app, Google said.
The tool is now available for users in the US, India and Mexico, the company said.
Meanwhile, the language learning capability aims to provide users with listening and speaking practice sessions to help them learn a new language, Google said.
The beta experience will be rolled out more broadly in the Translate app for Android and iOS this week, and will be available first for English speakers practicing Spanish and French, and for Spanish, French and Portuguese speakers practicing English, Google said.
