Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) and Foot Locker (FL) said Tuesday that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 expired Monday, in connection with Dick's Sporting Goods' planned acquisition of Foot Locker.
All required regulatory approvals for merger completion have now been received, and the acquisition is expected to close on Sept. 8, the two companies said.
