All SkyWest flights grounded at airline's request, US FAA says

WASHINGTON, Aug 29 (Reuters) - All SkyWest Airlines SKYW.O flights were grounded on Friday night at the request of the airline, according to an advisory from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

SkyWest is the largest U.S. regional airline, operating flights for United Airlines UAL.O, Delta Air Lines DAL.N, American Airlines AAL.O and Alaska Airlines ALK.N.

SkyWest did not immediately provide comment on advisory.
