Timah Resources (ASX:TML) said in its attempt to re-energize its subsidiary's biogas plant located in Sabah, Malaysia, and resume power export to the grid, a phase-to-phase short circuit occurred in the plant's 33 kilovolts underground XLPE cable on Aug. 17, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The repair work is scheduled for completion on Sept. 5, and power generation is expected to restart after that.

Earlier repair works after a 33 kilovolts switchgear busbar flashover incident were delayed due to extended lead times for the shipment of spare parts from China. The work was completed on Aug. 16.
