China Southern Airlines' H1 Losses Increase 46%

China Southern Airlines (HKG:1055) reported 1.53 billion yuan in attributable loss for the first half of 2025, 46% higher than the 1.05 billion yuan loss posted a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Thursday.

Loss per share was 0.08 yuan, compared with 0.06 yuan in the prior year.

The airline company's revenue rose 1.8% year-on-year to 86.29 billion yuan, figures showed.

Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated 84.95 billion yuan.
