Black Sesame International Swings to H1 Loss; Shares Slide 3%

Black Sesame International (HKG:2533) reported a net loss attributable to equity holders of 762.4 million yuan for the first half of 2025, compared with a profit of 1.10 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Loss per share was 1.3 yuan, compared with a loss per share of 1.7 yuan in the prior-year period.
Revenue rose to 252.9 million yuan from 180.1 million yuan.
The board declared no interim dividend.
Shares of the firm were down nearly 3% in Friday late-morning trade.
