劳斯莱斯于周六否认了一则关于其正为旗下小型核反应堆部门探索首次公开发行（IPO）的报道。

　　知情人士称，该公司正考虑通过 IPO 及其他融资方式为该部门筹集资金，并表示目前与投资机构及银行的磋商尚处于初期阶段。

　　该部门（劳斯莱斯小型模块化反应堆部门）发言人在电子邮件声明中表示：“劳斯莱斯小型模块化反应堆（Rolls-Royce SMR）目前没有计划进行首次公开发行，也未处于推进 IPO 的过程中。”

　　今年 6 月，劳斯莱斯小型模块化反应堆（Rolls-Royce SMR）部门被选中承建英国首批小型模块化反应堆（SMR）。这是英国计划从 20 世纪 30 年代中期开始加快电网脱碳进程的举措之一。该部门由这家英国工程公司持有多数股权，计划建造三座反应堆。

　　英国政府承诺在未来四年为小型模块化反应堆项目提供 25 亿英镑（合 34 亿美元）资金，旨在打造欧洲首批小型核能产业之一。

　　美国、加拿大、罗马尼亚、捷克共和国等国家也在推进小型模块化反应堆项目。若英国的该项目取得成功，或将开启一个庞大的全球市场。
