KuangChi Science Ltd. has released its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The Group reported a revenue of HK$33.656 million, an increase from HK$32.028 million in the same period of 2024. This growth is primarily driven by the sale of metal component products, which generated HK$32.782 million in revenue, up from HK$29.266 million in the previous year. Sales of wearable smart helmets also rose significantly to HK$874,000 compared to HK$256,000 in the previous period. The Group recorded a net profit of HK$1.821 million for the period, a recovery from a net loss of HK$5.226 million in the same period of 2024. Earnings per share for the period were reported at HK$0.30 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$0.85 cents per share in the previous year. The financial results also reflect a decrease in administrative expenses to HK$11.829 million from HK$14.116 million in the previous period. However, the Group continued to incur research and development expenses amounting to HK$3.076 million. Other gains, net, decreased to HK$3.791 million from HK$12.247 million in the prior year. The Group's financial performance is being reviewed on a consolidated basis, as it constitutes one single reportable segment. Details on future outlook and guidance were not included in this release.
