CGN Power's (HKG:1816, SHE:003816) attributable profit fell 16% to 5.95 billion yuan in the first half from 7.11 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the power company declined to 0.118 yuan from 0.141 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue decreased 0.5% year over year to 39.2 billion yuan from 39.4 billion yuan.
