智通财经APP获悉，日本邮政银行表示，将在2026财年底前推出数字日元，以便其储户更便捷地进行数字金融交易。
这家邮政巨头持有约190万亿日元(合1.29万亿美元)的存款，此举凸显出日本国内实体日益利用区块链技术来简化金融交易。
日本邮政银行及其股东日本政府本周一在一份声明中表示，将为其储户引入由DeCurret DCP公司开发的数字货币"DCJPY"。日本互联网服务公司Internet Initiative Japan旗下子公司DeCurrent DCP参与了该货币的开发。
一旦推出，日本邮政银行的储户可以将日元转换为DCJPY，用于即时交易数字证券和其他基于区块链的资产。
日本邮政银行和DeCurrent DCP在声明中表示："我们正在考虑推出的代币化存款货币将利用区块链技术提供即时、透明的交易。"
DCJPY是一种基于区块链的存款货币，与法币日元1：1完全挂钩。它不同于稳定币，稳定币是一种加密货币，通常与法币挂钩以保持恒定价值。
