Dole Shares Drop After Secondary Offering Gets Priced

Shares of Dole fell after the company said its underwritten secondary offering had been priced below Wednesday's closing price.

The stock was down 9.3% at $13.37 in early trading. Shares are now in negative territory year-to-date.

The agricultural company said overnight that it would offer 11.9 million shares to the public at $13.25 apiece. Shares closed Wednesday at $14.73.

The offering is expected to close on Friday.
