路透台北9月4日 - 台湾金管会周四指出，为鼓励外国资产管理公司在台设置区域中心，将提供两项奖励措施，目前有联博、安联、景顺、摩根、贝莱德、富达、瀚亚等7家外资投信已在台设置区域中心。
今日金管会新闻稿并称，鼓励外国资产管理公司在台设置区域中心的奖励措施包括放宽在台设置区域中心的境外基金机构委任总代理人办理境外基金募集销售案件得采申报生效制，以及放宽在台设置区域中心境外基金的台湾民众投资比率上限至90%。
“在函令发布后，预计仍有投信申设在台设置区域中心。”证期局副局长黄厚铭说。
台湾金管会主委彭金隆此前表示，打造台湾成亚洲资产管理中心是台湾非常重要的计画之一，已有八家国际大型投信预计在台设立区域中心，五家外银将加大对台投资。(完)
