TMK Energy (ASX:TMK) has reported a major production milestone at its Gurvantes XXXV coal seam gas project, with the LF-07 well exceeding 100 cubic meters of gas per day, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The well quickly established strong early performance, with gas flows starting just six days after being brought online, making it one of the top producers in the pilot well project, the filing said.
Data from LF-07 has informed reservoir updates, allowing the company to boost pump speeds at nearby wells, contributing to a doubling of gas production across all seven pilot wells since recent operations, per the filing.
The company is focused on optimizing production and refining the reservoir model to better predict gas rates and estimate the time needed to reach critical desorption pressure, the filing added.
