美国总统特朗普的政府周三表示，对挪威主权财富基金从美国建筑设备巨头卡特彼勒撤资感到“非常不安”，并补充说，华盛顿正在就此问题与挪威政府直接接触。
规模达2万亿美元的挪威主权财富基金上周表示，由于以色列当局在加沙和以色列控制的约旦河西岸地区使用卡特彼勒的产品，该基金已从卡特彼勒撤资。
该基金的道德监督机构在其评估中表示，卡特彼勒生产的推土机等产品正被以色列当局用于“广泛而系统地违反国际人道主义法”，例如“大规模非法破坏巴勒斯坦财产”。
该基金表示，卡特彼勒“没有采取任何措施防止此类使用。”
美国国务院一位发言人周三表示：“我们对挪威主权财富基金的决定感到非常不安，该决定似乎是基于对卡特彼勒和以色列政府的非法主张。我们正在就此事与挪威政府直接接触。”
特朗普的盟友、共和党参议员林赛·格雷厄姆（Lindsey Graham）建议，美国应该对挪威征收关税并取消签证，作为报复。
