韩国三大电池制造商之一SK On周四表示，已经与美国一家公司达成了一项重要协议，为后者提供总容量高达7.2吉瓦时（GWh）的先进储能系统（ESS）。

　　SK On表示，根据该协议，该公司将从2026年下半年开始向Flatiron Energy Development提供采用1吉瓦时磷酸铁锂（LFP）电池的集装箱化ESS装置。

　　SK On还赢得了Flatiron项目的首个投标权，该项目预计将持续到2030年，预计容量为6.2吉瓦时。

　　虽然该公司没有提供合同价值等进一步细节，但市场观察人士估计该交易价值约2万亿韩元（14.3亿美元）。

　　SK On表示，“这突显了SK On在LFP电池领域的增长的同时，向美国BESS市场的战略扩张，突显了SK On对产品组合多样化和可持续增长的承诺。”

　　Flatiron是美国科罗拉多州一家公用事业规模的储能开发商。

　　SK On还表示，将从明年下半年开始批量生产LFP电池。
