Firebird Metals Agrees to Receive $650,000 From Kazakhstan EV Component Producer; Shares Fall 8%

Firebird Metals (ASX:FRB) has entered an 18-month agreement with Taza Metals Technologies to provide $650,000 to develop the company's lithium manganese-rich (LMR) cathode research and development program, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The funds will be contributed through staged instalments, the filing said.
The company retains the global rights to LMR, while Taza can hold the rights only in Kazakhstan, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell 8% in recent trade.
