智通财经APP获悉，Uranium Energy(UEC.US)于周二宣布，已成立全新子公司——美国铀精炼与转化公司(United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp，简称UR&C)，旨在探索在美国境内建设一座现代化铀精炼与转化设施的可行性。
Uranium Energy公司总裁兼首席执行官阿米尔·阿德纳米(Amir Adnani)表示：“推动UEC成为美国唯一一家具备铀开采、加工、精炼及转化全链条能力的垂直整合企业，不仅是重大的商业机遇，对美国而言更是战略层面的必要举措。”
他进一步指出：“我们将UR&C设立为子公司，是为了以财务最优的方式推进这一计划，包括开展战略性合作与直接投资等。”
目前，该公司已启动关于潜在选址的讨论，正围绕物流条件、劳动力供给、公众接受度、地方激励政策，以及与其他核燃料循环设施的协同效应等因素展开评估。
