An employee of Hiap Seng Industries' (SGX:1L2) subsidiary, Hiap Seng Engineering, passed away due to an incident at its workshop on Aug. 30, according to a Sunday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the company were up nearly 4% in Monday trading.
The company is currently in contact with the family of the deceased employee to offer its support.
