BUZZ-Australia's <a href="https://laohu8.com/S/BKT.AU">Black Rock Mining</a> slumps most in 8 years on discounted placement

** Shares of Black Rock Mining Ltd BKT.AX fall as much as 23.6% to A$0.021, marking its biggest intraday pct fall since mid-July 2017

** Stock at its lowest level since May 12

** Graphite miner to raise A$10 million ($6.50 million) via private placement to fund early works for the Mahenge Graphite Project in south-eastern Tanzania

** Placement at issue price of A$0.021 per share, representing a discount of 23.6% to stock's last close

** Co to also raise A$2 million via share purchase plan at the same issue price as placement

** About 8.6 million shares traded, 9.0x the 30-day average

** YTD stock down 38.2%, including current session's move
