Castle Minerals (ASX:CDT) started a power auger drilling campaign at its Kandia Gold Prospect in Ghana to test for extensions in known gold zones, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company has identified various sites to test for near-surface gold anomalism, the filing said. If confirmed, the sites will be prioritized for reverse circulation drilling.
Shares of the company rose nearly 5% in recent Tuesday trade.
