Though the food delivery giant is predicted to remain China's largest player, its dominance is likely to diminish due to competitor Alibaba's investments that raised its order volume to 70%-80% of Meituan's. The analysts say Meituan's gross transaction value is expected to retain its lead at 58% market share at end-2025, versus Alibaba's 28%.
