The eurozone's unemployment rate fell to match a record low in July despite weak economic growth, underpinning expectations that the European Central Bank will leave its key interest rate unchanged next week.
The European Union's statistics agency Monday said the unemployment rate fell to 6.2% from 6.3% in June as the number of workers without a job fell by 170,000.
The unemployment rate last fell to 6.2% in November 2024.
