Far East Gold (ASX:FEG) identified 14 new exploration targets at the Idenburg project in Indonesia through a structural evaluation, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

This came after a detailed structural assessment was completed by Murphy Geological Services. The study used high-resolution Sentinel-2 satellite imagery.

The next phase of work will focus on systematic ground follow-up across the highest-priority targets to define near-term drill targets.

The firm's shares rose 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
