ChainCatcher 消息，以太坊基金会官方发文表示，Holešky 测试网已按计划达到生命周期终点并将很快停止服务。在 Fusaka 升级于 Holešky 完成确认后两周，绝大多数剩余验证节点将被关闭。此后，客户端团队、测试团队及基础设施团队将不再对 Holešky 提供支持。
官方表示，Holešky 于 2023 年作为以太坊规模最大的公共测试网上线，专为大规模质押基础设施和验证器运营测试而设计。该网络已达成其使命，助力数千个验证器完成协议升级测试，包括 Dencun 网络升级及最近的 Pectra 升级。
但在 2025 年初 Pectra 测试网激活后，Holešky 出现大规模非活跃泄漏现象，导致验证器退出队列激增。虽然网络最终恢复并完成确认，但漫长的验证器退出流程使得在合理时间范围内完成完整验证器生命周期测试变得不切实际。这直接促使 2025 年 3 月全新测试网 Hoodi 的创建与启动，其提供了不受这些限制的新测试环境。
