观点网讯：9月1日，新城发展发布根据一般授权认购新股份公告，宣布完成股份购买事项。

8月31日，公司与认购人订立认购协议，据此，本公司有条件同意配发及发行，而认购人有条件同意认购合共19,346,101股认购股份，认购价为每股认购股份2.5845港元。

认购股份相当于：(i)本公告日期本公司现有已发行股本约0.27%；及(ii)紧随完成后的本公司经扩大已发行股本约0.27%（假设于本公告日期至完成之间除发行认购股分外本公司的已发行股本并无变动）。公司将向上市委员会申请批准认购股份上市及买卖。

认购事项所得款项总额预计约为5000万港元。认购事项所得款项净额（扣除佣金及估计开支后）预期约为4940万港元。公司拟将认购事项所得款项净额（扣除佣金及估计开支后）全数用于公司在RWA应用领域的战略部署。

认购人为一家在澳洲注册成立的有限责任公司，主要从事知识服务行业的投资管理及研究业务。据董事于作出一切合理查询后所知、所悉及所信，认购人由私人投资者李波先生及GeFeng女士分别拥有50.0%及50.0%权益。于本公告日期，认购人、李波先生及GeFeng女士各自均为独立第三方。
