Lotus Resources Produces First Yellowcake Uranium From Malawi Mine; Shares Jump 6%

Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) said it produced the first yellowcake triuranium octoxide from its Kayelekera uranium mine in Malawi, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Kayelekera's production is planned to be ramped up to 2.4 million pounds of triuranium octoxide per annum in the first quarter of 2026.
The firm plans to send samples to each of the three western uranium converters for qualification.
Lotus Resources' shares rose 6% in recent trading on Monday.
