加拿大石油和天然气生产商斯特拉斯科纳资源公司（Strathcona Resources，多伦多证券交易所代码：SCR：CA）以1.908亿美元收购了梅格能源公司（MEG Energy，场外交易代码：MEGEF）的股份，以此阻止其被塞诺沃斯能源公司（Cenovus Energy，CVE）收购。
目前塞诺沃斯能源公司股价下跌2.9%。
斯特拉斯科纳现持有梅格能源11.8%的流通股，并计划进一步增持股份，对该拟议合并交易提出挑战。
