0623 GMT - Nordic markets are seen opening slightly higher, with IG calling the OMXS30 up 0.1% at around 2628. Despite falls in U.S. stock markets Friday, risk appetite remains unexpectedly strong, SEB data scientist and junior strategist Dana Malas writes. U.S. stocks are close to all-time highs, though markets there are closed today for Labor Day. Market focus this week will be on U.S. jobs data on Friday, with the labor market playing a crucial role in determining the number of Fed interest-rate cuts, the dollar's development and the speed of U.S. growth, Malas adds. Stock markets in Asia early Monday are mixed and European stock market futures are trading around zero. OMXS30 closed at 2625.70, OMXN40 at 2289.83 and OBX at 1569.91. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
