贝莱德表示，24%的养老金计划正考虑在未来一年增添另类资产；此类账户中万亿美元资金的一部分或有望流入私募股权、信贷等资产。
根据贝莱德周一发布的一项调查，受访的养老金计划称，最有可能在投资股票和债券的同时纳入另类资产的是默认目标日基金类产品。在考虑增添另类资产的养老金计划中，有30%表示，将为养老金储户的投资选项增添一个独立的私募基金。
“储户和雇主都在寻求更多解决方案，”贝莱德养老金业务负责人Jaime Magyera在电邮中表示。这是作为全球最大资产管理机构的贝莱德在过去十年进行养老金调查期间，首次问及增添私募资产的问题。
贝莱德的调查发现，规模较小的养老金计划实际上比规模较大的计划更有可能考虑增加私募资产。今年早些时候，其首席财务官Martin Small表示大型计划通常依赖顾问，且需要相当长的时间才能做出调整。
