Prinx Chengshan Holdings (HKG:1809) said production at its Thailand tire base has been suspended again from Friday, Sept. 5, after a temporary resumption for trial operations ended, according to a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing.
The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand had allowed the plant to restart until Sept. 4 to test air quality equipment, following an earlier suspension over alleged breaches of industrial waste disposal rules.
The company said it completed improvement works at the facility and will issue an update once production can resume.
It added that the recent events in Thailand are not expected to have a material impact on its financial position.
