IT之家 9 月 7 日消息，美国造车新势力 Lucid 宣布获得来自 Uber 的 3 亿美元（IT之家注：现汇率约合 21.4 亿元人民币）投资，双方将展开战略合作，共同开发并生产专属于 Uber 平台的自动驾驶网约车队。
根据计划，这批自动驾驶出租车将基于 Lucid 电动汽车技术平台（整体基于 Lucid Gravity 车型）打造，引入 Nuro 提供的 L4 级系统，以及“Uber 全球网约车管理经验”。系列车型将在美国亚利桑那州工厂组装，预计明年率先在美国主要城市投入运营，Uber 计划在六年内将相应自动驾驶网约车队规模扩大至 2 万辆以上。
业内认为，Lucid 此举将该公司放在了 Waymo 与特斯拉之间的“中间位置”，作为比较，特斯拉已在今年 6 月率先在美国得州上线无人出租车服务，并计划在今年内进一步拓展相应出租车覆盖区域。
