据环球时报援引英国广播公司报道称，美国印第安纳州律师马克·扎克伯格因与Facebook创始人同名被多次无故封禁社交账号，向Facebook提起诉讼并索赔。 据马克个人网站介绍，他的全名为马克·史蒂文·扎克伯格，是美国印第安纳州一名专攻破产诉讼的律师。为了扩大业务，马克在Facebook上注册了实名个人账号，并支付了1.1万美元的推广费，但却在过去8年里5次被封禁账号，不仅耽误他和客户接触，其支付的推广费也没有退还。马克表示，平台之所以封禁他的账号，是误以为他冒充Facebook创始人扎克伯格（全名马克·艾略特·扎克伯格）。但马克表示，自己在38年前就以“马克·扎克伯格”的名字执业，在账号初次被封时也提交了多份身份证明并获得解封，但Facebook官方却继续错误封禁自己的账号，因此他于今年5月起诉Facebook并向其索赔自己支付的推广费。 据马克展示的文件显示，除了账号频频被封外，他也经常被网友或各类机构误以为是Facebook创始人扎克伯格，还曾于2020年被华盛顿州政府错误起诉。Facebook在一份声明中表示，他们会密切关注这一情况，防止此类事件再次发生，并对马克的耐心表示感谢。
