微软公司周六表示，由于红海多条国际电缆遭切断，其 Azure 云平台的客户可能会面临网络延迟加剧的情况。

　　该公司在网上发布的状态更新中称，往返于亚洲与欧洲、且需途经中东地区的数据传输正受到影响，并补充表示其工程团队正采取措施缓解当前状况。不过，该通知未说明电缆是如何被切断的。

　　微软表示：“海底光纤修复需要一定时间，因此在此期间，我们将持续监控、重新平衡并优化传输路径，以降低对客户的影响。”

　　红海是重要的通信通道，可通过埃及连接欧洲、非洲与亚洲。由于也门胡塞武装持续在该地区袭击船只，修复该区域的海底电缆可能会面临较大困难。
