MarketAxess (MKTX) said Friday its total trading average daily volume in August was $36.87 billion, down 11% from a year earlier.
Total portfolio trading average volume in August was $1.16 billion, up 18% from a year earlier, the company added.
Total credit trading average daily volume last month was $13.09 billion, down 1% from a year earlier, while dealer-initiated ADV for the month was $1.34 billion, up 18% from a year earlier.
