渣打财富管理及零售银行业务兼大中华及北亚区行政总裁徐仲薇表示，近年年均有25万个新富裕客，另有约30万原有客户升级，令该行中高端客层基础年均增长约10%。单计今年上半年，新富裕客再增加13.5万个，主要来自中国香港，而新加坡、中国内地及中国台湾吸纳新高端客量亦不俗，现时渣打集团的中高端客户总数约250万个。据悉，渣打去年宣布，5年内投资约15亿美元于客户经理及投资顾问、财富方案，以及提升咨询服务、跨境服务和数字营运的能力。
