PolarX (ASX:PXX) received firm commitments to raise AU$5 million through the issue of about 335 million new shares at AU$0.015 apiece, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Proceeds will be used for exploration at the Humboldt Range project in Nevada, the filing said.
Shares rose more than 6% in midday trade Monday.
