智通财经APP讯，万洲国际(00288)发布公告，于2025年9月5日(纽约时间)，董事会主席兼执行董事万隆已同意于史密斯菲尔德二次发行中按发售价及与所发售的其他史密斯菲尔德股份相同的条款购买180万股史密斯菲尔德股份，占史密斯菲尔德二次发行中所发售的史密斯菲尔德股份约8.01%及截至本公告日期史密斯菲尔德已发行股本总额约0.46%。万隆就认购事项支付的代价约为4185万美元。
认购事项反映万隆对史密斯菲尔德集团业务发展的进一步认同，以及其对史密斯菲尔德集团未来发展的信心。董事会认为，尽管认购事项并非于集团的一般及日常业务过程中进行，但认购事项乃按一般商业条款进行，属公平合理，并符合公司及其股东的整体利益。
