** U.S.-listed shares of gold miners rise premarket, tracking prices of the bullion

** Spot gold XAU= hit a record high of $3,616.64 per ounce and was last trading up 0.8% at $3,615.07 GOL/

** Gold prices supported by rising expectations of a U.S. rate cut this month after a weaker-than-expected jobs report

** U.S.-listed shares of South African miner Harmony Gold HMY.N rises 2.8%, Gold Fields GFI.N up 2.5%, AngloGold Ashanti AU.N gains 1.9% and Sibanye Stillwater SBSW.N climbs 4%

** Top miners Newmont NEM.N and Barrick Mining B.N rise 0.9% and 1.4%, respectively ** Canadian miner Kinross Gold KGC.N up 1.5% and Agnico Eagle Mines AEM.N rises 1.4%
