0209 GMT - Samsung Electro-Mechanics' multilayer-ceramic-capacitor division could post its ninth consecutive quarter of revenue growth in 3Q, Nomura anaysts Eon Hwang and Heesoo Min write in a note. Revenue from the company's MLCC segment is expected to rise 14% on year for the July-September quarter, with operating profit likely to increase 32% from a year earlier, the analysts reckon. They expect the MLCC market to continue to grow in the information-technology, industrial and auto sectors. The Samsung Electronics affiliate retains an estimated 40% share of the MLCC market for artificial-intelligence data servers, with its market share for auto MLCCs also rising, they note.
